About Me

I was born and lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for 32 years before emigrating to Winnipeg, Canada in 1986.

I recently retired from my profession as a medical technologist after which I relocated to Indiana, U.S.A. which is where my wife Diana was born and raised.
As a purely self-taught amateur photographer I have always enjoyed taking photographs on various trips and sharing them with friends and family. Over the past several years I received many favorable comments about my landscape and wildlife photos and, having built up a portfolio of my favorite shots over the years, I decided to share them on social media and a dedicated website.
I am as passionate about Scotland as I have ever been – probably more so now – and it gives me a great deal of pleasure to share my homeland through the photographs that I take there each year. I also enjoy recommending unique out of the way places for friends to visit when they tell me that they are going to Scotland.
I have selected a few of my personal favorites from Scotland and, of course, Canada and the U.S.A. I hope you will enjoy viewing as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
